Agriculture: Swamiji is interested to improve the rural livelihood and regional economic development. So Taralabalu Rural Development foundation (TRDF) was established in 1982. Its aim is promoting agricultural practice by organizing workshops and exhibitions. Impressed by Swamiji’s work Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Sanctioned a prestigious project-Krishi Vigyan Kendra for farm research and transferring proven crop technologies to the farmers ofDavangere District of Karnataka.
Water Management & Irrigation in Drought Hit Districts :Under the leadership of Swamiji irrigation Tank Rehabilitation (40 Tanks) projects was successfully implemented. Sujala Watershed Projects was also implemented with the help of World Bank Swamiji’s Active involvement in 22 lift irrigation projects covering 651 irrigation tanks is noteworthy.
Social Service & Other Rural Development Programmes: School children and teachers involved in a programme initiated by Swamiji Taralabalu Seedling Programmes, is an important task under taken in association with the Society for promotion of Wasteland Development.
Academic & Literary work: Innumerable books, articles and news paper columns have been published by Swamiji. He has been invited for talks in National and International Universities and Organizations. Important works are – Religion and Society at Cross Roads. Hindu Vision of Global Peace, Communal Conflicts in India, Hinduism and Harmony, Panini Grammar Software-‘Ganakashtadhyayi’, Ganaka Vachana Samputa of Basavanna etc.
